2d Tin Mining imprint/plate 4–4 block x 8, pale grey, printed by De La Rue. Difficult and undercatalogued plate as issued two weeks before withdrawl of series. Light gum bend otherwise fine. Mint lightly hinged in the margin only. SGT4c
Note: the 2d was first printed by Imprimerie Belge de Sécurité (a subsidiary of Waterlow based in Brussels) using a rotary recess process. The rotary recess printed stamps have no marginal plate markings. The value was reprinted 19 September 1961 by De La Rue
